As always, Contenders brings a fresh take on officially licensed clothing, employing unique designs you can only find at Contenders combined with premium fabrics and fitted cuts. We were the first to create a line of officially licensed boxer briefs inspired by the trunks worn in the Rocky movies as a tribute to one of the most iconic characters in movie history.
It's time we introduce a new addition to the Rocky line. One Monday, 2/25 we are dropping five new Rocky t-shirt styles on pre-sale. There are limited quantities. These are highly anticipated.
Because of the anticipation behind the release of these tees, we felt it was only right to give you a sneak peek of a few styles to look forward to tomorrow.
Rocky 1979 Tee
In 1979, Rocky Balboa returned to the screen in Rocky II, still in pursuit of the unattainable – the heavyweight championship. In essence, the story of Rocky, the pug who never learned the word “impossible”. Balboa is able to get another shot at the title of Heavyweight Champion.
The 1979 tee is the first Rocky tee we released that became an overnight Contenders favorite. The 1979 tee sold out and we're excited to being it back not only in Black but in Gold as well.
Rocky Legend's Hair
As we are constantly inspired by iconic artists and icons, what better way to channel the living legends of Rocky by drawing on The Beatles for inspiration? Our Rocky Legends Hair tee brings an updated take on the famous artwork of the silhouetted faces of The Beatles. We took this image and displayed some of your favorite characters!
There are more designs in our initial capsule, but this was just a taste of what's to come. Remember, our officially licensed Rocky tees drop on Monday 2/25. As this is our first line of officially licensed Rocky tees, we anticipate there to be an amazing demand from our customers. There are limited styles and quantities, so expect them to go fast!
